How to install a new theme in Windows 7?
Windows 7 is one of the powerful operating systems developed by the software giant Microsoft. It is designed primarily to reduce the usage time and reduce the learning curve of users particularly beginners. In this article, I will examine the steps required to modify your desktop background.
Right click on an empty area of the desktop and select Personalize. You will view a pop up menu as shown below
You will be able to see a new screen with several options as shown in Figure 2.
As you can see there are lot of themes installed. The themes displayed under Aero Themes panel are installed by default. If you install a new theme available from other sources then they will appear under My Themes panel.
You can modify Sounds and Screen Savers from the same window. Moreover, you can directly navigate to Control Panel and modify desktop icons, mouse pointers and account picture from the Personalize window.
Windows 7 completely changed the way in which users access the various options. I hope the upcoming Windows 8 will also provide new features, which will further simplify the usage of one of the most popular operating systems.
