WordPress 3.2 Released | TechnoEnclave

There is a reason to cheer. It is not because of Independence Day celebrations in USA but the release of WordPress 3.2 to the community.WordPress 3.2 ships with tons of new features and user interface improvements. You can automatically upgrade to 3.2 from 3.1 from the admin dashboard itself. You just need to login and click few links to get upgraded to 3.2. You can safely upgrade from the dashboard itself. However, if you are worried then you can opt for manual upgrade.

WordPress 3.2 is code named as Gershwin and is dedicated to noted composer and pianist George Gershwin. I noticed that the login screen now displays a new look and feel. The link to jumpt to tyhe home page of the site appears just below the lost password link. It was located on the extreme top in version 3.1.

The admin dashboard of WordPress 3.2 also boasts a new look and feel. The Log Out link now appears inside the drop down box.

The navigation bar also looks different than the previous version of WordPress. I still wonder why the developers have not yet implemented the post approval workflow mechanism. I would like to see a feature with which the articles submitted by users are moderated by the site administrator before it appears on the site.

Anyway, WordPress 3.2 is much more improved than its previous counterparts and it loads faster as well.
