How do I work with GClient Desktop Client for Google+?
Google+ is gaining popularity among several people. It is most likely to emerge as a best fast loading social bookmarking tool within a year. However, you should login to your Google+ account on the web to provide updates and also to invite friends.
I would prefer to login to my Google+ account from my desktop using a tool. Right now, I have installed a tool named Seesmic which can integrate with Twitter and Facebook. I hope Seesmic will have an extension for Google+ in the near future. However, Abelssoft has released a freeware named GClient which has the ability to remotely connect to your Google+ account.
GClient is around 11 MB in size and can be installed very quickly. Initially, you need to unlock the software by providing your email address, first name and last name.
The unlock key will be automatically loaded as soon as you click Get free unlock code now button. You will now view a new window where you need to provide your Google+ registered username and password.
You will view a screen as shown below after you successfully sign in to your Google+ account
You can then share your thoughts by selecting the Pen shaped icon located on the top right hand side
It is very easy to use GClient. However, the application disappears if you move the mouse focus.
For instance, I used to copy the title of the post which I need to share and then move the focus and copy the URL. I have observed that the content which I previously pasted inside the TextArea no longer appears. I hope the developer will provide a fix for this problem in the next build of GClient.
