Review – Periodic Table from Intel AppUp center | TechnoEnclave

I was very much interested to learn Periodic Table. That’s why I migrated to Science group from Commerce after my 10’th grade class. However, I was forced to memorize the elements as there was no other visual learning aid available at that time in 1991.

When I noticed the Periodic Table application while scanning through Intel AppUp center, I immediately went ahead and installed it to view its functionality.

Follow the steps mentioned below to install the application.

1. Double click Intel AppUp(SM) center icon from the desktop
2. Select more link from the right side navigation bar and select category titled Education. Scroll down and you will find the app titled Periodic Table.
3. The application is available free of cost and hence you can download and install it directly by selecting Free Get button.

You will view a login screen as shown below upon clicking Free Get button.

Intel AppUp center will automatically download and install the application as shown in the screenshots below as soon as you provide the password which you used while creating an account. You need not have to perform any action to install the app.

Intel AppUp center will display Launch button as shown in Figure 4 immediately after the successful installation of the application.

You can either open the Periodic Table by clicking the Launch button or by double clicking the Periodic Table icon from the desktop. The Periodic Table will be displayed as shown below

You can easily view the details of each element upon clicking each symbols.

Moreover, if you click the Rhyme button located on the bottom right hand corner, you will be able to learn the shortcut for remembering the elements in Periodic Table. From my point of view, it will be very useful for school and college going students who normally memorize the elements like what I did during my college days.

I am now going to share this post with my brother since the Periodic Table application will be useful for his daughter who is a 3’rd grade student. I also hope that this application will be useful for my father who is a retired chemical engineer.
