Review – Health Diary from Intel AppUp Center

As a Techie, you should take care of your health regularly. This is because you eat food items from road side stalls and small hotels. You will experience health related problems if you continue to take food from outlets. Hence, it is vital to undertake a check-up once in 3 months.

Moreover, it is essential to maintain a record of all your previous appointments with your physician. Physicians do provide prescriptions but it will be easy if you maintain a record using a software. Health Diary from Intel AppUp center enables you to maintain a simple record of all your medical cases in a simple format.

As usual the app can be downloaded and installed from Intel AppUp center very quickly.

You can launch the Health Diary app as soon as you complete the installation. You will view a screen as shown below

As you can see you need to provide doctors name, appointment date, contact number, symptoms and prescription details in order to create an entry. The corresponding diary entry will be automatically created as soon as you click the Create button. A confirmation dialog will be displayed as shown below

You can view the entries by selecting View Diary tab.

I would suggest the developer of Health Diary App to implement the following suggestions in the next version.

  1. Ability to modify and delete entries from the diary
  2. Ability to export the entries in Text or Word Format so that users can take a print out of the data if required.

I also noticed minor spelling errors in the data entry screen.

From my point of view, Health Diary is a simple tool which you can make use of to record your health history. It will help you to remember when you consulted your doctor lastly and also that of the medicines prescribed by your doctor.
