With the TRAI regulations on National Customer Preference Registry (previously DND) in place from 27th September, 2011, online shopping sites such as ebay.in, indiaplaza.com would not be able to provide you updates on shipment, delivery statuses and our other offers through SMSes.

However, you will get notifications regarding your shipments and other related offers either through e-mail or by following the steps given below

Subscribe to the partial NCPR (DND) list as shown below

Send “START 5” message to 1909 (This would enable you to get messages related to the “Consumer Goods” Industry.

De-register from the NCPR list as shown below

Send “STOP” message to 1909 (This would enable you to get messages related to all industries)

As of the time of this writing, TRAI has exempted certain agencies suchas Airlines, Railways and other essential services from these regulations.

If you purchase goods from online companies then you should follow the procedure mentioned above so that you will not be affected by these new regulations.
