Review – Outlook Attachment Reminder Suite 1.0
How often you forgot to attach the file after mentioning on the email that you have attached the file? I have done this numerous times and I used to again send email to the recipient with the files. By default, Microsoft Outlook doesn’t have a feature to alert users to attach file in case if they missed them. Hence, there is a need to make use of third party freeware tools such as Outlook Attachment Reminder Suite 1.0, which alert you in case if you forgot to attach files.
Outlook Attachment Reminder Suite 1.0 scans your email for possible words such as attach, attached and provides alert in case the tool doesn’t find any files. In order to work with the freeware, you should install it, which takes around 3 minutes. You should close Microsoft Outlook 2020 before installation.
The freeware automatically includes a list of words which should be scanned in an email. However, you can add words from the Options dialog by clicking Add-Ins ribbon toolbar and selecting Options from the OAR Addin drop down panel.
As mentioned above, Outlook Attachment Reminder Suite 1.0 automatically scans your email for the above displayed words and if there are no file attachments then you will view a message box as shown below
The freeware is compatible with both Microsoft Outlook 2007 and 2010.
You should click Yes to go back to the Compose page. If you click No then your email will be queued for delivery. I feel that there is no need to place No button as users may not be required to send email without attachments if they make use of Outlook Attachment Reminder Suite 1.0.
