October 31st, 2011 0 Comments

Aero shake is a new feature which has been introduced in Windows 7. The advantage of this feature is that all inactive windows will be automatically minimized upon just shaking on the title bar of any one of the active window.

Follow the steps mentioned below to experience the functioning of this feature

(1) Open Calculator – Type calc in “Search programs and files” box
(2) Open NotePad
(3) Open WordPad
(4) Open Paint
(5) Open Word 2010

In order to perform a Aero shake, go to the title bar, click on it and gently shake the trackball of your mouse by clicking on the left side of the mouse. You need not have to shake the entire mouse but should not release the hand from the left side of the mouse. That’s it. The inactive windows will be minimized and pinned to the taskbar.

Aero shake is available only in higher versions of Windows 7 which supports Aero. You should have a minimum of 2 GB of RAM to have a smooth working experience with Aero. Please also note that all your sticky notes will also be pinned to the Taskbar as a result of Aero Shake.
