Resize Images Easily with Shrink O’Matic
Nowadays, pictures captured using high end digital cameras with high MegaPixel (MP) value will naturally be in higher size. You can easily upload one or two picture to the web but it is not feasible to upload large number of files at a same time. Hence, you should resize or shrink the images using freeware application such as Shrink O’Matic, which will enable you to reduce the size of images easily.
Shrink O’Matic is an Adobe AIR application with which you can easily resize or shrink images in batches. The freeware is capable of handling JPG, GIF and PNG file formats. You simply need to drag and drop images and they will be resized according to the output size, name and format you have chosen.
In order to work with Shrink O’Matic, you have to download and install the application. For this purpose, click on the Install link located on the home page of the freeware. You will be prompted to save the installation package as shown below

The default width and height is 200×200. You will need to adjust this setting according to your preference and requirement. Alternatively, you can specify an output folder by clicking Browse button located below the label titled Specify an output folder. As you can see, Shrink O’Matic includes four output formats including an option to specify the quality of JPG image.
From my point of view, Shrink O’Matic is an excellent freeware with which you can resize or shrink batch of images on a fly without consuming any processing resources.
