Introducing Windows 7 Dynamic Themes – Terra and Flora | TechnoEnclave

We had covered themes for Windows 7 previously. However, we have not discussed about Dynamic themes, which automatically updates through RSS feeds. Hence, any new wallpapers added to the theme are automatically updated through the feeds. Microsoft has recently released two new dynamic themes such as Terra and Flora.

Terra Dynamic theme features exquisite and sometimes haunting landscapes from around the globe. You will be able to explore caves, waterfalls, desert, meadows, and beaches through the lens of our community of contributors. Terra Dynamic Windows 7 theme updates automatically  through an RSS feed.

Flora Dynamic theme features vivid blossoms, dew-drenched leaves, and the elegant symmetry of grains, which are contributed by the Windows community. You will be able to enjoy the life and color of the plant kingdom on your Windows 7 desktop. Like Terra Dynamic theme, Flora also updates automatically through an RSS feed.

An advantage of using dynamic themes is that you will be able to save the valuable disk space. Moreover, the theme installation package can be easily downloaded since the wallpapers are delivered through RSS feed. You will view a dialog as shown below as soon as you double click the theme installation file.

The wallpapers will be downloaded into your system as soon as you select Download Attachments option. Initially, you will not find any wallpapers. You should select Desktop Background link from the Personalization page and set the timing for shuffling wallpapers through the RSS feed.
