Introducing EditPad Lite with Advanced Features
NotePad is one of the popular text editors being used by many programmers and web designers. While programmers use it to create/edit C, C++, C# codes, web designers make use of it to create/edit HTML, CSS, JavaScript codes. But NotePad only has limited possibilities and hence programmers and web designers are on a lookout for an alternative application for code editing.
EditPad Lite is a convenient and carefully designed text editor and is available free of cost. The freeware has all the features of a solid text editor and you can open as many files at a time with the help of tabs with no restrictions regarding file size and line length.
EditPad Lite is fully globalized and it is possible to convert between ANSI, ASCII and Unicode (UCS-2 and UTF-8), and work with Unix and Mac files. With the help of the code editor you can create text files in any language you like such as French, Russian or Chinese. According to vendor, EditPad Lite itself has also been translated into many languages, including all documentation.
A unique feature of EditPad Lite is that the relevant context menu will be displayed upon right clicking on the blank space after the end of a selected line. It is also possible to create portable installation without admin rights.
EditPad Lite has also the built-in ability to convert lower case into uppercase and vice versa including the ability to capitalize first alphabet of each sentence by selecting the relevant option from the Convert menu.
