Manually Delay the launch of each Program with Startup Delayer
With the evolution of Instant Messaging, the usage of MSN Messenger, Yahoo Messenger, AOL Messenger has become inevitable and unavoidable. Moreover, you will also have various tools and utilities such as Gmail Notifier, Gmail Talk, Other third party Messengers which may run during the booting process. By default, all these programs will load during the booting time which will certainly slow down your system if you have old CPU.
Startup Delayer allows you to configure and setup how many seconds after Windows has started to load each program. For example, you can configure to load Yahoo Messenger after five minutes of the completion of the booting process and the freeware triggers the application only after five minutes. In the same way, you can separate the loading time of each application by configuring them in the Startup Delayer.
The following screen will be displayed on the screen after the completion of the installation process.
As you can see, Startup Delayer displays a complete list of all the applications which are scheduled to run during Windows Startup. You can drag and drop each of the application which needs to be delayed during the startup to the panel titled Delayed located on the top of the Interface screen like as shown below
Once you placed the desired application of the top panel then you can easily set the timer. There are two options. You can either set Automatic Delay or Manual Delay. By default, 30% of the CPU must be inactive or idle in order for the Automatic Delay to trigger. On the other hand, you can manually set the timer if you make use of Manual Delay.
From my point of view, Startup Delayer will be useful for those users who make use of low end CPU such as Pentium IV.
