Manage Tasks Easily with PNotes
You might have scheduled to complete several tasks before the end of each day and you simply forget them. You need to note down the work which needs to be completed. It can be either in NotePad or in a separate sheet of paper/memo pad. However, it would be helpful if you have the ability to note down the points in front of you – The Windows 7 Desktop using Sticky Notes.
PNotes is a portable freeware which extends the Sticky Notes application included with Windows 7. There is no need to perform any lengthy installation. You just extract the contents from the package and double click the executable file named PNotes.exe. The tool will be loaded and can be managed from the Windows Taskbar and the following user interface will be displayed on the screen.
You can enter notes and save them by selecting the arrow located on the top right hand side. Alternatively, you can modify the font name, font size and font color by picking the relevant options from the bottom left hand side portion of PNotes.
Developed using C and Windows API, PNotes is not only fast but also light weight. It doesn’t eat major resources. The freeware has the ability to set alarm for each Notes so that you will be reminded when you should work on the task entered and a provision to set transparency level.
By default, PNotes includes 2 skins. However, you can create your own skin by downloading PNSkinCreator, which is a small utility for the creation of PNotes skins. However, you can also create Notes without skins that allows you to stretch them to any appropriate size.
The User Interface of PNotes will look like as shown below after the modification of the Skin to classic-yellow
